As the leading digital sleep service in the NHS, Sleepstation’s digital care pathways include expert-led human support as standard. Sleepstation’s expertise in delivering truly personalised and person-centred support at significant scale is what sets it apart,
- A cost-effective digital solution, that is already delivered at scale – with no waiting lists
- A hybrid model, with integrated person-led support – ensuring superior engagement (compared to automated apps) and improved health outcomes
- Same day access to online screening, assessments and remote diagnostics
- Proven real-world impact – reducing hospital referrals by 30%, higher efficacy than in-person hospital clinics and automated sleep apps, reducing reliance on medications.

Over eight million people in England suffer from untreated insomnia and sleep apnoea
Placing avoidable strain on NHS services, poor sleep is a major contributor to mental health challenges and long-term sickness absence, with insomnia being strongly linked to key drivers of economic inactivity.
- Rising chronic disease burden: Poor sleep drives cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and obesity.
- Worsened mental health: More GP visits, increased hospital admissions, and greater strain on services.
- Unnecessary medication use: Increased prescriptions, often with unwanted side effects.
- Preventable crises: Undiagnosed sleep apnoea significantly raises the risk of heart attacks, strokes, and accidents.
- Economic impact: Sleep-related issues cost the UK economy ~£40bn per annum.
A people-first, tech-enabled care model

Positive service. Especially helpful where previously the therapeutic options were very limited

“There’s no hanging around, you don’t have to wait for months. Everyone is incredibly helpful. You can send messages at any point about anything at all to do with the programme. Sleepstation are brilliant.
It encourages patients to self-manage their issues, the regular updates from the Sleepstation team help to keep the service at the front of our minds when seeing patients, and prompt us to promote it regularly.
Dr Emma Green, Devon
A good option to refer to for non-pharmacological management of insomnia and decrease prescribing Z drugs and benzos
