Sleepstation helps people sleep better without pills. Our online course is clinically proven to combat even the most severe insomnia.
Insomnia is the most common of all sleep disorders but most people don’t know where to go for help. All too often, people resort to taking sleeping pills in an attempt to gain control over their sleep. Sleeping pills do not provide natural sleep, they are ineffective and potentially harmful.
Sleepstation helps people understand how to control sleep so that they can sleep well again.
Through Sleepstation, you’ll have access to the most effective treatment available for insomnia - CBTi (cognitive behavioural therapy for insomnia). CBTi is more effective than sleeping pills and is recommended for even the most severe insomnia. Sleepstation’s online sleep improvement programme consistently helps people fall asleep faster, stay asleep longer and get better quality sleep.
You’ll have access to a team of sleep coaches who will be there to support and guide you. The Sleepstation programme builds on basic sleep improvement principles with personalised modules tailored to the individual, their problems and their lifestyle. Sleepstation helps people regain confidence in their ability to sleep soundly night after night.
The key thing about Sleepstation is that it’s personalised for each person. If you put a particular pattern into your diary it will change the programme to make it fit your sleep pattern. Dr Kirstie Anderson, Sleep Specialist
Sleepstation’s online programme was launched in 2012, since then we’ve helped thousands of people to sleep better and overcome even the most severe insomnia. Many people have called Sleepstation “life-changing”.
Your support has been invaluable, and has been key to keeping me on track and getting through quite a tough transition. Your quick responses to the difficult days have been really encouraging and I wouldn’t change anything about the programme. It’s such a relief to have someone to guide and encourage me in taking control of my sleep problems.Mary, St Albans
The course has been an enlightening experience. Sleepstation provides positive solutions on how to improve sleep patterns and as to what may be causing the problem. It is fantastic to have a forum where what you are coping with is understood and to have support too. The tools and videos are helpful — as are the summaries of the sleep diaries and the personal insights. The ongoing support has been a tower of strength. A big thank you to you all.Adam, Dorset
Sleepstation helps people identify underlying causes and factors contributing to their insomnia, and supports them on their journey to better sleep.
If you have one of more of the following symptoms then you could have insomnia.
If you have, or think you have insomnia, complete a short questionnaire to find out if we could help you sleep better.
When you join Sleepstation, you’ll choose a password for your online account. You’ll need to log in to get started. We’ll start by reviewing your sleep. You’ll answer some questions and complete daily sleep diaries for one week initially to allow us to understand your problem in detail. You’ll also be able to discuss things with us confidentially via the messages area. You can talk to us about anything, not just your sleep.
When you’ve completed your first full week of sleep diaries we’ll understand more about your sleep problem and will be able to provide appropriate advice. We’ll review all of the information you’ve provided and prepare your report. If your sleep pattern and symptoms are typical of insomnia, and there are no issues or concerns, you’ll be able to start the sleep improvement programme. If your assessment has highlighted things that you should consider/address first we’ll let you know.
The Sleepstation therapy programme is delivered entirely online and is based around your personalised sleep plan. Your sleep plan is designed to address the problems which were highlighted by your sleep review. You can complete your sessions from the comfort of your own home, at a time that suits you. In the first three weeks we’ll help you improve the quality of your sleep. You’ll continue to complete daily sleep diaries to track your progress and discover what works for you.
Over the following two weeks your sessions will be focused on increasing the amount of sleep you get, in line with your needs and goals. You’ll learn more about sleep and how to control it. You’ll have weekly checkups and access to our support team who will be available to answer your questions and provide guidance.
In the final two weeks of the programme you’ll learn how to maintain good sleep. Together, we’ll review your progress and plan for the future. If you’ve been able to follow the advice we offer, you should be sleeping better and feeling confident about your ability to control your sleep by this point.
