You’ll have direct contact with your sleep coaches, who will support and guide you, answer your questions, linking you to other experts if needed, and address any concerns you may have.

Sleep tracking

You’ll complete daily sleep diaries and regular check-ins that will highlight patterns and opportunities for improvement to you and your coaches.

Discoveries and insights

Our ongoing analysis and weekly check-ups will uncover any other factors — including thoughts, feelings and behaviours — that may be affecting your sleep and your support team will help you implement strategies to improve your sleep.

Progress monitoring

You’ll track your progress and reflect on how far you’ve come, building confidence as you move toward your sleep goals.

Course modules: Step-by-step improvement

The Sleepstation course introduces new strategies and techniques gradually, focusing on specific aspects of sleep until you can see and feel the difference. Eight key course modules are outlined below, but the exact approach that we take with you (what we recommend and when) will depend on the specific problems you’re having and what you want to tackle first.

Identify the root causes of your sleep difficulties, whether mental, emotional, or environmental. Information you share about your problems and expert insights will inform your tailored sleep improvement plan. Your support team will work with you to understand your current sleep ability and, across a number of weeks, will develop and refine a realistic and achievable plan that’s right for you.

This module is designed to help you understand and improve your sleep ability, which encompasses your capacity to fall asleep, stay asleep, and achieve restful, restorative sleep. By analysing your current sleep patterns and identifying any barriers, we can recommend targeted strategies to enhance your sleep, leading to better sleep quality and overall wellbeing.

We’ll introduce a technique that helps you align your time in bed with the actual amount of sleep you get, making the time you spend in bed more restful and rejuvenating. This approach gradually increases the amount of time you spend sleeping soundly, leading to better overall sleep quality. Over time, you’ll find that you fall asleep more quickly, stay asleep longer, and wake up feeling more refreshed and energised. This method is particularly effective for those who struggle with fragmented sleep or difficulty falling asleep.

Learn to identify, manage and reduce any negative thoughts and emotions that may be driving your sleep problems. You’ll get to grips with practical cognitive control techniques, so you can overcome any negative thoughts impacting your sleep.

Implement techniques to further improve sleep quality. Your diaries will continue to be reviewed during each module and adjustments made to your plan based on your progress.

Build on the foundation we’ve laid and focus on what’s worked so far. You’ll refine your successful strategies to solidify and improve on your sleep.

Add further techniques to your skill set. You’ll be introduced to new methods that can help you fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer.

Eliminate anxiety around sleep. You’ll explore how worry, over-focus and and anxious thoughts impact your sleep ability and how to resolve them using new strategies.

Review your progress and build a plan to maintain your sleep gains for the long term. You’ll evaluate the strategies and techniques you’ve learnt, making sure you’re confident that you can stay in control of your sleep going forward. Our team will remain at your side for as long as you need us.
